One of the things that we never got taught in school was how to build a stock portfolio. Our goal is to grow our stock portfolio big enough that we don’t have to work again & we can just use our stock income to cover our expenses. That’s the end goal.
But to get there you have to start somewhere & what you want to do is start right now. Let’s build a strong stock portfolio with risk growth opportunities & a range of different investments. These are some famous stocks owned by world-famous investors.
Berkshire Hathaway
Don’t just copy these investments, go & do your research & In the end if you feel this investment is worth have them give it a shot.
The thing about building a portfolio is that you have to know how to balance it.
One of the biggest mistakes I see beginner investors make is they only buy stocks that can 10X, or 20X in terms of price.
The thing they don’t realize is these stocks also have a huge amount of risk attached to them. So, what they end up doing is building an extremely risky portfolio.
You need to balance risk with any portfolio. the great thing about buying Berkshire Hathaway stock is straight away you’ve built a strong backbone to your portfolio & that’s because Berkshire is the investing firm run by the greatest investor of all time Warren Buffett.
So, if you own Berkshire stock, you immediately own some of the greatest companies in the world. Apple, Coca-cola, Bank of America, Geicko. It’s a hands-free way of being an investor in the companies that Warren Buffett decides to invest in.
Waste Management
This is an investment made by Bill Gates. Waste Management it’s a pretty easy company to get our head around, they manage waste in North America. They have 293 landfill disposal sites, 146 recycling plants & 111 beneficial use landfill gas projects.
Amazon
Amazon is the largest online retailer in the world. Amazon mainly generates income by selling goods & services.
They sell their products through Amazon’s website in North America & worldwide. They give cloud spaces for other businesses to operate their businesses.
AWS owns 33% of the market share Microsoft owns 22% & Google owns 10% market share. Regarding which platform is growing the fastest, it appears that Microsoft is doing well & they are gaining more market share as time goes on.
Amazon is holding its share of the pie. Google is doing pretty well each year, they’re slowly getting more of a percentage.
Coca-Cola
Coca-Cola is one of the best drinks of all time without any doubt. To understand Coca-Cola’s business you don’t need to be Einstein. It’s a straightforward business.
They distribute drinks all around the world & they sell them at various outlets. Some of their billion-dollar brands include Coke, fanta, sprite, and Schweppes. They pay a dividend yield of around 3% & the great thing about this is they’ve increased it for 58 consecutive years.
